We’re excited for this year’s annual field trip, where students will learn all about sea turtles, their nests, and the important role of sea oats in our local ecosystem. They’ll also get hands-on experience planting sea oats (provided by the SPE PTA!)

About the Event
We’re excited for this year’s annual field trip, where students will learn all about sea turtles, their nests, and the important role of sea oats in our local ecosystem. They’ll also get hands-on experience planting sea oats (provided by the SPE PTA!) and discovering the fascinating organisms that live in the sand at the surf. This is a fantastic learning opportunity—I’ve chaperoned multiple times, and I still learn something new every year!
